FS LATVIA TAKES PLACE ON A SHIP FS Latvia has recently been celebrating the end of their 2008 season with another well-received screening and a closing party with four leading DJs from the FS Latvia stable. It took place on the 'Floating Workshop No. 659', an experimental venue on a ship that has seen its fair share of FS Latvia events throughout the year. 'FROM LONDON WITH LOVE' AT THE MOSCOW SHORT FILM FESTIVAL Future Shorts is delighted to announce the premiere of the 'From London With Love' programme at the Moscow Short Film Festival accompanied by a workshop from Future Shorts Founder and Creative Director, Fabien Riggall. Featuring the very best in London's distinctive film-making voices, 'From London With Love' includes exhilirating work from Dougal Wilson, Adam Smith and Sam Taylor-Wood. FUTURE SHORTS ROMANIA LAUNCH In what looks to be one of the biggest launch events in Future Shorts five year history FS Romania will launch with an expected audience of 1500 at the spectacular Bucharest National Theatre. ARE YOU A ROCKNROLLA? Future Cinema, Warner Bros and Myspace joined Guy Ritchie in an explosive cinematic event, screening his new film RocknRolla to more than 1500 fans. Check out more photos here on flickr The Future Cinema event captured the films murky underbelly of sex, thugs and rocknroll by creating an immersive world full of Russian gangsters, dancers, junkies, fast cars with strippers, a gambling den and watchful gangsters in Hummers. FUTURE SHORTS PRESENTS SUMMER. LOVE. DANCE AT THE SECRET GARDEN PARTY Future Shorts will bring late night summer-fuelled dreamy short films to the SGP this year.
